How to Turn Off Game Notifications on Facebook

With Billions of people Playing Games of Facebook, it’s really tough to escape it with no notifications at all. Probably anyone in your friends list would be addicted to Games on Facebook. It’s totally fine with if they are, but you should not be bugged about it.

If you still get irritated, here is a simple trick to never get them again.

Facebook allows you to turn off all the notifications from a particular person or an app, right from the notifications bar.

Click on the cross and it will let you turn off the notifications from the Game.

You can turn of any notifications be it status update or photo.

Email notifications can also be turned off by going to the Notifications tab found under Settings.

Now Send Text Using Facebook Messenger on Android

In the recent update of Facebook’s Android App Facebook Messenger, you will now be able to send text messages to your friends.

The new UI also looks pretty much like Wassapp Messenger’s bubble UI. Users will not be able to see the list of their online friends just by swiping to the left from anywhere on the screen.

Other changes include sending photos directly from searching the web (powered by Bing), and photos stored in your Mobile phone.

How to Shutdown or Restart Windows 8 Quickly

Windows 8 is a completely different OS from previous Windows OS. from last two decades, Windows users used to Reboot or Shutdown their Computers from Start Menu, but Windows 8 has removed the Start Button and has brought a new User Interface where you have to hover you mouse on the extreme left hand side at the bottom to get the option to Reboot or Shutdown the PC.

But you can use few tricks to Reboot or Shutdown your PC easily without the mouse hover.

Alt+ F4

Go to desktop by minimizing all the apps (or simple press Windows key + D) and then press Alt+F4. This will give you a popup windows from where you can Shutdown the Computer or Reboot it.

You can also install some third party software which brings back the Start Menu functionality and few other features from Windows 7. You can take look at the different ways to shutdown Windows 8.
